By Nicole C. Richardson Deception: to get you to believe anything that is misleading and represent it as truth. No one likes to be lied to. Even the smallest lie can upset people. One of the main objectives of Satan is to deceive the world. He is trying to get you to lose your greatest possession, your soul. If he can successfully accomplish this, then you would lose all access to the Kingdom of God when Jesus returns. Ask yourself, "Is there anything in this world worth losing my soul for." That is a very heavy question, but many people are ignoring the fact that they are playing a dangerous game with their lives. The world is creating a false reality and things are not always as it appears. You have to take a look around and open your eyes. The images we see and the things that we hear is a way to confuse people so much to the point where they can't disguising fact from fiction. Defeat: to get the victory over you and prevent you from achieving your goal. | What is the goal to humans on earth? Even though there are some who do not recognize it, but the goal is to live and follow Jesus Christ. The playing ground we have is called Free Will. We have the choice to live for God or not. But in this choice comes a huge consequence, one with reward or one with punishment. It is the things we are tempted in which causes us to sin. It teases us, and if we are not strong to resist that which is luring us, then we will most likely give in. Not believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and our sins we commit will lead us to Hell if we allow Satan to use this trick to have the victory over us. The interesting thing about sin is once you go too far into it, it seems so very hard to get out. Remember Satan wants to defeat you from reaching Heaven and will do anything to stop you from getting there. There will be days when our problems become too burdensome and have us asking God, "Why is this happening to me?" When we start asking God or blaming him for all our problems, sometimes we begin to lose faith in him. The Devil will use our problems to turn us against God to the point of even questioning his existence or love. If we allow the inner voices to influence our thinking, we might seek alternative methods to help us alleviate those problems. He will use our problems to discourage us from seeking God's help. He will cause our spirit to feel broken to the point of despair, a loss of all hope. | This is a trick of Satan to get you to believe that your life has no purpose and is meaningless. So what does God say about the Enemy's Tricks... Deception:2 Corinthians 11:3, "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled (deceived) Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." Defeat: Ephesians 6:10, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Discouragement: John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." God has equipped us through his word on how to recognize the tricks of the Devil. The world will soon be coming to an end. Don't let Satan allow you to miss out on the promises of God. Trust God and the plan he has for each and everyone of us. Satan wants to do everything in his power to get you to falter. Just keep in mind that Jesus wants us all to be with him when he returns. Stay in his Word and be encouraged. Jesus loves you. Nicole C. Richardson is a copy editor and writer for Envisage Productions. She is also a poet, creative writer and a film maker.
