By Kathy NortonIn the world, people find they accomplish the most when there is a common goal. For example, the struggling of apartheid being brought to extinction by President Mandela or the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement by Martin Luther King. In both instances, these leaders required followers touching and agreeing. By touching and agreeing, the burdens of humanity were eased and sometimes healed. How much more does the power of agreement become a factor when believers in Christ Jesus- “Forsake not the assembling of themselves….” Assembling can be a simple act, a determined move to touch and agree. In these last days Christians desire to come together and join forces against the adversary of their souls. The afflictions, diseases, and trials of this world are brought to the throne of God, and as Jesus promised signs and wonders follow them that believe. | Through the use of technology prayer lines have sprung up throughout the various states. For example, financial burdens have been lifted in just one day and healings occur right before our eyes. More significant than ever is the Body of Christ comes together in a Spirit of Unity. Our struggles are not like the earlier Christians who hid in catacombs and they ran for their lives. | There is however a lethargy and slothfulness in the Body of Christ that can only be awakened through faith and prayer.
